Role Description

As an Acceleration Coordinator, you will play a key role in the design, implementation, and

evaluation of AP acceleration programs. You will work in a team, as well as lead it,

effectively coordinating the work of colleagues and involving them in the implementation of

programs. Your ability to lead, inspire, and organize team processes will be crucial to the

successful execution of programs. You will work closely with startups, mentors, investors,

and ecosystem partners to provide entrepreneurs with the support they need to scale and

succeed. The position requires strong program management skills, stakeholder

engagement, and leadership skills to effectively lead a team.

You will oversee acceleration cycles, monitor program effectiveness, and interact with

investment and marketing teams to strengthen startup support. The focus will be on program

execution, mentoring coordination, investment promotion, and ecosystem engagement.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and execute AP’s acceleration programs, ensuring high-quality implementation across multiple verticals, including BPOs, Green Solutions, Tech-enabled businesses, Adventure Tourism, women-led ventures, and sector-agnostic programs.
  • Develop and implement structured technical assistance interventions for startups, providing pre- and post-investment support to enhance business viability.
  • Manage the design and delivery of AP’s digital learning modules and distance learning content for startup education.
  • Coordinate collaboration and conduct evaluation and analysis of program impact, including performance tracking of experts, mentors, guest speakers, and startups.
  • Lead outreach strategy to identify high-potential startups for participation in the acceleration program.
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting on program progress through quarterly, bi-annual, and annual reports for internal management, governance, and donor reporting requirements.
  • Facilitate mentorship programs, industry linkages, stakeholder engagement, and in-house events to support startup growth and market access.
  • Build and maintain strategic partnerships with investors, mentors, government agencies, and industry stakeholders to provide financial and technical resources to startups.
  • Organize an investment platform and roadshow events to connect startups with global investment opportunities and fundraising prospects.
  • Support in execution of mentorship program, support entrepreneurs and mentors in the process.
  • Identify and execute post-investment technical assistance, including executive education, exposure visits, supply chain development, and market linkages.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by the line manager to ensure program success.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

Must Have:

  • Еexperience in entrepreneurship development, startup acceleration, venture capital, or ecosystem building (4-5years)
  • Strong understanding of incubation, acceleration, and investment readiness processes.
  • Developed leadership skills, the ability to effectively manage a team, motivate and coordinate its work
  • Experience in designing and executing technical assistance programs for startups.
  • Proven ability to manage relationships with investors, mentors, and government agencies.
  • Strong analytical and evaluation skills to assess program impact and mentor effectiveness.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and report-writing skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in digital learning tools and content development is a plus.
  • Oral and written fluency in English, Tajik, and Russian.

Good to Have:

  • Experience working with international organizations or donor-funded programs.
  • Familiarity with startup funding mechanisms and venture capital networks.
  • Understanding of impact measurement and program evaluation methodologies.
