Call for Proposals: Brand Guidelines and Branded Materials for Accelerate Prosperity

Accelerate Prosperity invites graphic designers and design studios to submit technical and financial proposals for the design and production of its brand guidelines and a suite of branded materials.

The brand strategy, guidelines content and visual identity direction have been approved. The selected designer or studio will translate these into a cohesive design system and practical assets for use by AP’s country teams.

Scope of work:

Brand guidelines

Design and lay out a document of approximately 45–55 pages, including annexes. The document should feature a consistent layout, typographic hierarchy, colour palette, logo usage rules and clear visual examples of brand applications. Deliverables include print-ready and screen-ready PDFs, plus editable source files.

Logo and visual assets

Design an original icon set and finalise the approved brand graphic device. Deliver both as SVG files and editable AI/EPS masters, together with a colour reference sheet specifying HEX/RGB, CMYK and Pantone values for all primary and accent colours, and Adobe-compatible .ase swatches.

Typography

Prepare a font package, test character support and establish layout rules for Latin, Cyrillic and Arabic scripts, including right-to-left text. The system must accommodate English, Russian, Kyrgyz, Tajik, Kazakh, Arabic, Dari, Pashto and Urdu. AP will provide verified text samples.

The approved typefaces are Oswald for headings, Montserrat for body text and Arial as the fallback. Deliverables must include font files and licensing notes, a multilingual type-hierarchy reference sheet, a character-support test report and right-to-left layout specifications. Any additional Arabic-script typeface requires AP’s approval.

Editable templates

  • PowerPoint presentations, including a version for events and on-stage use.
  • Word documents: report, letterhead, one-page fact sheet, expression of interest and proposal.
  • Social media assets: profile images, covers, posts, stories and thumbnails.
  • Video and audio assets: title card, name and title lower third, watermark and podcast cover.
  • Event materials: branded backdrop and roll-up banner.

Templates must accommodate longer text and language-specific characters without disrupting the layout and be easy for staff without professional design skills to use. Word and PowerPoint templates must include the approved fallback-font settings. Social media templates must be supplied in Canva, Figma or another agreed editable format.

Merchandise guidelines and handover

Produce a 2–4-page merchandise application guide with mock-ups for mugs, water bottles, tote bags, notebooks, apparel and pins. Specify logo placement, sizes and approved versions for embroidery, screen printing and engraving, and provide production-ready single-colour vector files.

Deliver all final assets in a clearly labelled folder structure, accompanied by a 1–2-page user guide in English and Russian explaining the files and their intended uses.

Required Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience creating original brand guidelines and visual identity systems.
  • Experience designing for print and digital channels.
  • Experience typesetting Cyrillic and Arabic scripts, including right-to-left layouts, and familiarity with Naskh and Nastaliq.
  • Working knowledge of RGB, CMYK and Pantone colour systems.
  • Ability to build editable templates in PowerPoint, Word and relevant design tools.
  • Familiarity with WCAG 2.2 AA accessibility requirements.

Experience working with international organisations, non-profits or impact investors is an advantage.

Assignment Requirements:

  • All layouts, icons and graphic elements must be custom-designed for AP. Off-the-shelf templates, stock icon sets and AI-generated visual elements must not be used in the final deliverables. The approved logo must be rebuilt manually in vector format.
  • AP will provide approved text, available logo assets, photographs and verified language samples. Translation, photography, videography, website development and the production of physical materials are outside the scope of this assignment.
  • The proposed fee must cover at least three rounds of revisions per major deliverable, preparation of final files and handover of editable source files. AP’s brand lead will coordinate feedback and approvals.
  • The approved wording, document structure and section order must remain unchanged. Brand strategy, copywriting, interior and architectural design, and event or stand design are outside the scope.

Proposal Requirements:

1. Portfolio: At least three comparable brand guidelines or visual identity projects, specifying your role in each. At least one project must include Cyrillic or Arabic-script typesetting. Supporting examples of your design process are encouraged.

2. Technical proposal: Your approach to the assignment, team composition, proposed tools, delivery formats and timeline.

3. Financial proposal: Total fee and a breakdown by workstream: brand guidelines, logo, colour and typography, icons and graphics, templates, merchandise guidelines and asset handover. Specify the currency, applicable taxes included in the fee and proposed payment terms.

4. References: References or contact details for at least two previous clients.

Applications:

Applicants should submit their portfolio, technical and financial proposals, proposed timeline, and references from at least two previous clients to info@accelerateprosperity.org, with the subject line “Graphic Designer / Design Studio”, no later than October 23, 2026.
