Founded in 2016, Accelerate Prosperity Tajikistan has gained business expertise in GBAO and Khatlon and built a network of mentors in the most promising industries, including commercial services, agri-business, tourism, ICT and textiles, and is currently scaling to new regions nationally.

Since 2016, Accelerate Prosperity Tajikistan has supported promising entrepreneurs through business modelling, 1:1 coaching from staff, mentorship and networking with entrepreneurs, investment readiness, seed and growth financing, investors services and trade facilitation.

A COLLABORATIVE APPROACH TO CREATING CHANGE
European Union: SCORED & AP Asia
Accelerate Prosperity Tajikistan has successfully partnered with the European Union to implement two projects. The Supporting Cooperation and Opportunities for Regional Economic Development (SCORED) project seeks to catalyse regional economic development and integration in the border regions of Afghanistan and Tajikistan, and AP Asia contributes to the enhanced equitable economic well-being of women and men in rural Tajikistan.

Local Impact
Accelerate Prosperity Tajikistan secured two sub-grants in cooperation with the Aga Khan Foundation from USAID to promote Enhanced Integrated Socio-Economic Development in the cross-border districts of GBAO and Khatlon, and to catalyze inclusive economic growth and ensure basic livelihoods; and enhance infrastructure and access to basic services with a focus on clean energy.

Accelerate Prosperity has partnered with the State Secretariat for Economic Affairs to implement the Supporting Accelerated Growth for Entrepreneurs (SAGE) the overall aim of which is to contribute to improved prosperity through export-oriented and/or import substituted growth of targeted small and growing businesses.
AIMED
Accelerate Prosperity, with financial support from AKF is collaborating with GIZ to implement the "Accelerating Inclusive Market and Economic Development in Tajikistan" (AIMED) project, carried out within the framework of the Integrated Rural Development Project/Towards Rural Inclusive Growth and Economic Resilience Project of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development. The project aimes to provide access to affordable finance and technical assistance for value chain actors in Rasht and Zarafshon Valley as well as companies outside these areas but with strategic linkages to producers in target areas.
